Availability of Martian Meteorological Data

This page lists the dates for which meteorological data from the MGS Radio Science Team investigation of the Martian atmosphere are available to participants in the Team's education outreach program. The Team will continue to provide new data as it is acquired, and this page will be updated regularly as new data become available. Tools have been developed specifically for this outreach program to allow participants to retrieve the data and to generate graphs of the data and the conditions under which it was acquired.

We are currently acquiring new data from the martian atmosphere! The specific dates for which martian meteorological data are available follow:

January 28 - April 17, 1998 (with some missing dates)
November 21 - December 31, 1998 (with some missing dates)
March 9-27, 1999
April 5, 1999
April 14, 1999
May 6 - June 27, 1999
December 16, 1999 - February 7, 2000
April 1 - May 31, 2000
August 1 - July 15, 2001

The data are only available to registered participants in the MGS Radio Science Team education outreach program. If you are a teacher and are interested in participating in the program, please contact joe@nova.stanford.edu.
