Currently we are looking for an RA in the study of ice in the Earth's polar
regions and its effect on the world's climate. Specifically we are
investigating the use of spaceborne InSAR to measure the accumulation rate
of snow and ice in Antarctica and Greenland. These accumulation measurements
will then be used to estimate the mass balance of the Earth's ice sheets,
in order to determine whether ice is increasing or decreasing, and affecting
sea level and the environment worldwide.
We are also looking for undergraduates to spend the summer in our research group working on web programming and high speed (gigabit-rate) data transfers.
